This digital file has been carefully crafted to provide step by step instructions to make your own homemade drum carder for $40. With basic woodworking skills and a few power tools you can make this drum carder yourself.
The CALET MINI DRUM CARDER PLANS includes everything you need to make your very own drum carder as pictured here! The drums are 3 inches across each and they make about 3/4 oz. batts of roving.
The booklet is 19 pages long and is meant to be printed out and used in booklet form. There are actual pattern pieces that you need to cut out and templates as well.
My husband and I came up with this design and it is a durable little drum carder once finished... Ours took 3 days total to make but we had no instructions so figuring everything out took the longest.
I want to give a rundown of the major tools we used to create this just so you have an idea of what you will need...
*Power drill & drill bits or drill press
*Jig saw, scroll saw or band saw
*Wood clamp(s) at least 1 but 2 makes the project go faster!
*Hammer
*sand paper or sander
*2 punches
*ruler
*pencil
*scissors
This is only the tool list; you will also need a few basic materials found at your local craft store & hardware store. The total, not including the cost of any tools you need for the project, is about $40 to actually make your own drum carder.

Can I get a custom amount? Are discounts given when buying many products?
Yes! I can make a listing in whatever amount of items you need. Just contact me by convo and I will set you up a listing!

Can you make me a custom size/absorbency? Or can I get my products in a custom print?
Yes. With most items I do offer custom choices of size, absorbency, color, shape and prints. Processing time varies for these. Please contact me for more info.
My package got lost. Who is responsible for making it right? How do I go about getting my items I bought if they got delivered to the wrong address?
In the case of a lost, missing, stolen package. You must contact your local Post Office. HuggableEarth is not responsible for lost, missing or stolen packages. I put my love, hard work and materials into the items and ship them out with care. Once the package is in the hands of the postal workers, it is their responsibility to deliver the package. I only ship through usps, so look up your local usps phone number and call them. Chances are they have the package there, most people return packages that are not theirs to the P.O. The Post Office holds the packages for a certain number of days afterwords, waiting for the rightful owner of the package. If you need help filing a claim,please contact me and I can help you file a claim with the P.O.
